1. Information We Collect

QuextFlight may collect account information, pilot and aircraft profile information, flight planning and operational information, location and aircraft-state data, simulator data, subscription status information, community-interaction information, and technical diagnostics needed to operate the service.

2. Your Profile and De-Identified Data

Information associated with you is maintained in your own QuextFlight profile. When QuextFlight uses collected data outside your profile to improve safety or regulatory compliance for the aviation community, that information is de-identified so it does not reasonably identify you.

Quext Interactive Technologies does not sell personal information or share it for third-party advertising. Service providers process information needed to deliver the features you use, as described below. We do not use user-identifiable information for third-party advertising, marketing, or independent third-party use.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to operate and improve QuextFlight, including flight-planning, weather, terrain, performance, chart, taxi, approach, runway, cockpit-assistance, account, subscription, security, customer-support, safety, and regulatory-compliance functions. De-identified information may be used to improve safety and regulatory compliance for the aviation community.

4. Service Providers

We may use limited service providers to operate QuextFlight, including payment processing, authentication, hosting, security, data delivery, diagnostics, crash reporting, email delivery, customer support, and optional assistance features. These providers act only on our behalf and may process information only as needed to provide services to QuextFlight; they may not use it for their own advertising, marketing, or independent purposes.

Apple processes Sign in with Apple and App Store purchases. QuextFlight receives account identifiers and purchase verification, not Apple passwords, payment card details, or Touch ID/Face ID biometric templates. Existing Google accounts may authenticate with Google. Cloudflare and QuextFlight servers process account and service requests. Online assistance may send your request text or voice transcript and relevant flight context to OpenAI through QuextFlight. Relevant location and route information may be sent to data services to retrieve weather and airport information.

5. Community Features

Connect currently previews future pilot events, mentorships, and connections; it does not offer public messaging or event registration. Current safety insights can include anonymous, coarse STARR statistics without identity, narrative, or precise flight position. Fuel-price observations can contribute to community estimates when fuel logging is enabled. Private safety records are encrypted before server sync.

6. Data Retention and Security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide QuextFlight, maintain safety and subscription records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and improve the service. We may retain de-identified or aggregated information that does not reasonably identify you.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Choices

You may update account and aircraft profile information in the app where those controls are available. In QuextFlight 1.0.4 build 32 and later, choose Settings > Profile > Delete Account to permanently delete your account and its associated personal records. This option is also available on the Subscription Required screen without renewing. Personal flight data on that iPad is removed; downloaded FAA charts and terrain remain. Cancel Apple subscriptions separately using Manage / Cancel Apple Subscription to prevent further charges. Anonymous safety statistics that cannot identify you may remain. Platform ownership must be transferred before deleting the operational owner account.

8. Changes and Contact

We may update this policy as QuextFlight evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice in the app or on the website.
